United States of America ke New York city ke port ke pas Liberty Island par Savntray Devi ki Vishal Tamra(Copper) Murtee(Statue of Liberty) stith hai.

28th October, 1886 ko France ke log ne America ke logo ko yah murtee uphar(Gift) ke taur par diya gya tha. Eis murtee ka rachayita the French great artist scuptur Mr. Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, aur eis ka framework France ke great civil engineer Mr.Gustave Eiffel (Effile Towr fame) ne banaaya tha.

Yah murtee ke nirman mei 60,000 pounds (27.22 tonnes) copper aur 2,50,000 pounds (113.4 tonnes) ispat(steel) ka upayog hua hai. 

Eisa ki height 151 feet 01 inch (46 meter) hai.

Murtee ka total weight 4,50,000 pounds (204.1 tonnes) hai.

Liberty Island aur Ellis Island ko World Heritage Site Jahir kiya gaya hai. Statue of Liberty ke alawa usi naam se bana Nation Museum dekhane layak hai. Wahaan se 1.4 km door Ellis Island par Museum of Immigrant bhi dekhane layak hai. Statue of Liberty ki base building ki tarrace par aur Crown par jaa sakte hai. New York ki mulakat lene vale pravasi ekh hi din me yah dono islands ki mulakat le sakte hai.
